Record Breaking Brahman Heifer Sale

V8 Ranch’s Spring Born Heifer auction was held October 23rd at and to our knowledge boasts the two highest selling Brahman females of the last decade at public auction.

Lot 1 – Miss V8 790/8 topped the sale at $70,500. This daughter of Mr. V8 191/7 is out of Miss V8 997/6  (a Karu daughter) and was a sale favorite for her striking look, extreme length of body, and heavy muscle.

The highly anticipated choice lot of the first ET flush of Noble and Miss V8 21/8 “Boom Shaka Laka” was the 2nd high seller with a bid of $70,000. These females represent the most sought after mating at V8 Ranch in the last decade. Both of these females went to GKB Cattle in Texas. GKB is an excellent source for Hereford and Brangus cattle and are adding Brahman to their diversified seedstock operation.

The sale included registered bidders from the United States, Nicaragua, Thailand and Saudi Arabia.

V8 Ranch greatly appreciates the support of our genetics. The sale averaged $49,100 on 5 head.
