The 2024 World Brahman Congress is coming to Texas from November 3-9, 2024, at the Brazos County Expo Center in College Station, TX.

The World Brahman Congress is a biennial international event that brings together Brahman breeders from across the globe. It’s more than just a cattle show – it’s a week-long celebration of our favorite breed. 

Here’s what you can expect:

• Knowledge sharing: Experts from around the world share their insights on Brahman breeding, health, and management.
• Showring excitement: See some of the best Brahman cattle compete for top honors.
• Networking opportunities: Connect with fellow breeders, from local ranchers to international Brahman enthusiasts.
• Trade show discoveries: Check out the latest in breeding technology and cattle care products.
• Ranch tours: Visit some of Texas’ premier Brahman operations (including us at V8 and our cousins down the road, J.D. Hudgins).

2024: A Double Header for Brahman Breeders

For the first time ever, ABBA is hosting both the National Brahman Show and the World Brahman Congress in Texas in the same year, just days apart. It’s a unique opportunity to see a wide range of Brahman cattle and connect with breeders from near and far. We’re proud to showcase our American Brahman genetics on this global stage.

V8 Ranch Heads to College Station

Being just a couple of hours from College Station, we’re gearing up for a big presence at the Congress. 

We’re particularly thrilled to be showcasing our star bull, Mr. V8 368/9, affectionately known as “Magic Man.”

He’s been turning heads at shows all year with his dark steel gray coat and friendly demeanor. Make sure to stop by to meet him in person!

We can’t wait to spend a whole week in Aggieland. Jim Williams, Catherine Williams Neumayr, and Luke Neumayr are all proud Texas A&M alumni. It’s safe to say we bleed maroon and white. Bringing our cattle to College Station always feels a bit like a homecoming.

• Sat, November 9: Tradeshow, WBC Red Brahman Show (Group Classes, Females, Bulls) – stop by to see Mr. V8 421/9 “Red Baron” 
• Sun, November 10: Junior Brahman Congress Show, ABBA Judges seminar, ranch tours (Salinas Ranch and Bulls Eye)
• Mon, November 11: Ranch tours (Huastecas Ranch, Magnolia Silos, and Moreno Ranches)

2024 World Brahman Congress Venue

The 2024 World Brahman Congress will be held at the Brazos County Expo Center in College Station, Texas. This venue is conveniently located about a two-hour drive from V8’s Hungerford, Texas Brahman cattle ranches.

For those flying in for the event, several airports are within driving distance of the Brazos County Expo Center:

• College Station Easterwood Field (CLL) is the closest regional airport, just a 5-minute drive from the Bryan/College Station area and the greater Brazos Valley.
• Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is about a 1.5-hour drive away from the venue (approximately 95 miles away)
• George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) is also roughly a 1.5-hour drive to College Station (about 6 miles away).
